The John Muir Trail is definitely on my bucketlist but I haven’t done that much research into it. Check out Kristin’s site: bearfoottheory.com. She hiked the JMT a few years ago and has tons of info about it on her site.

Thanks Georgia. I am thinking about Kili (as a someday thing) but I’ll definitely let you know if it becomes more of a reality. 🙂

Thanks for putting a Nookta Trip report on my post. It compliments the post very well. While I love the WCT and have hiked it over 50 times, I too much prefer the Nootka Trail.
Looking at your hiking trips is pretty impressive.
It you ever consider hiking in Tanzania (Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru, Ol Doinyo Lengai) I would be more than happy to help you with any questions you may have. I have hiked various route on Kilimanjaro and just returned from hiking Mt Meru and Lengai.
Tu kuongezeka is swahili for Just HIke!
