They do make the nicest chocolate (and some of the friendliest people you’ll meet) and were really happy to hear that they are now located at 1314 Richmond Road Richmond and are part of the

Every Man and His Dog Vineyard Experience.

So glad you found all the Tassie posts helpful Wendy. I am Canadian but at this point I do feel a little Tasmanian. Our good friends lives in Northwest Tassie. We’ve housesat for him twice now – 5 weeks in Jan/Feb 2019 and 6 weeks in Jan/Feb 2020. Going to Tassie feels like going home now. At our friends house we visit with the next door neighbour, are regulars at the cafe down the block, know we prefer Woolies to Coles, know which bottle-o has better wine selection, have a regular after dinner walk spot, and have a regular weekend hike. It feels like home. We won’t be going to Tassie in 2021 due to the pandemic, but we are hoping to make it there in early 2022. Fingers crossed!

They are interesting and so well written. Your trip notes and comments have contributed immensely to preparing my itinerary for a trip in March 2021. Thank you so much.
What makes me smile is that you are from Canada and Tasmania is a state within my own country!

Took a trip down that way last week, early afternoon, and found the lavender farm closed, as well as Unzoo and the chocolate factory. It was almost as if the whole peninsular was closed
