Thanks so much for this. I have mobility problems and walk with a cane so some of these won’t be suitable for me. i got a pretty good sense of the terrain from reading this article but, perhaps in the future, keep in mind your different readership and add a few more key comments on accessibility. When I see steep descent, as you mentioned above, for example, I know not to go. Thanks thought this is very helpful.

Thanks for this super-informative post! Do you know, by any chance, if there is space to park a car if camping at a walk-in site at Falls Creek? We are happy to pack in our gear, as long as there is somewhere to park. Thanks for any insight you can offer!

In reply to Pam Bernier. Hi Pam. I'm not sure which waterfall would be a 13km hike. There are several dozen waterfalls in Wells Gray, but some are deep in the backcountry and I haven't been to them all. The ones are in my article are the waterfalls that are the easiest to visit.

Hi Taryn. I was reading something recently, and I’m sure Wells Grey park was mentioned, that highlighted a waterfall but the hike in was about 13 km. Door know which one that might be? The waterfalls you mentioned sound like ones to see as well. Definitely want to add them to my bucket list although I have visited Helmcken Falls it was many years ago. Thank you.

I am so thankful to find your post! I actually live only a couple of hours away from Clearwater and my hubby and I have talked about checking out the falls in Wells Grey for awhile but we had no idea where to start. Our plan was just to show up at the visitor center which would have been ok. While we will still do that, your post and info will give us a huge head start on where to go and what to expect!
